The Convertible Boom Stand 501 is designed for photographers and videographers who need a versatile lighting support system. Combining the flexibility of a boom arm with the strength of a stand, this unit extends up to 6.25 feet when in boom mode and transforms into a regular stand that supports up to 19.8 lbs of gear.

When fully extended as a boom, it can safely hold 4.4 lbs, enough for speedlites, softboxes, or lightweight modifiers. The stand folds down to a compact 44.5-inch closed length for easier transport. A reversible spigot means you can use 5/8″ or smaller screw types, increasing compatibility with various gear. Also included is an empty 15 lb sandbag for counterbalance, giving added stability especially when the boom arm is extended.
